How long will it take for my hair to be coloured and cut? We understand you don’t want to spend hours in the salon. You will be looked after by just the one stylist. This enables us to have you ready and finished anywhere from 1 ½ hours to 3 ½ hours depending on the colour or package you have chosen. If you need to be out at a particular time, just let us know.
Which hair products do you use? We only ever use quality products in the salon, and they are all carefully chosen specifically to be the best for blonde and any colour you chose ha. Our picks are Goldwell and Kevin Murphy.
What happens if I don’t really know what hairstyle or colour I want? Your stylist will always discuss your options, your likes and dislikes until you are completely happy, then only go ahead with what you have agreed to.
Can I have blonde / or coloured hair and keep it healthy? Yes, most certainly you can. We will explain to you what you will need to do to maintain healthy hair.
Why does my blonde hair go yellow? Your toner will start to fade the more you wash your hair, or if your hair is very dry it won’t hold for long. Sometimes the environment also plays a part in your hair going yellow. You will need to use a toning shampoo and/or treatment. We can help you select the best option for you.
Will my hair colour be done by an experienced colourist? Yes, all of our colourists are experienced in all the various colour techniques and receive ongoing training to keep up their skill levels.
What is a toner? Essentially it’s a semi-permanent colour, but when talked about as a toner it is for colour correction. Opposite colours on a colour wheel cancel each other out, for example, red and orange-yellow are cancelled out by blue, violet and green.
Do you open late nights or after hours? We are open until 8pm Thursdays and Fridays. Some salon may vary so please check.
How far in advance do I need to book my hair appointment? If you need a specific time and day, then we recommend as early as possible. Our late nights and Saturday appointment are very popular so we do recommend getting in for these quickly. We will do our best to accommodate you on your preferred time and day.
