New Hair Colour Trend – Tortoiseshell
At ZIGZAG Hair Studio we’d like to introduce you to the latest hair colour trend – a beautiful new sunkissed technique called ecaille (or tortoiseshell).
It works really well on all hair colours as we can adapt the tones to blend in with your natural hair colour. As with ombre and balayage, the ecaille look is darker at the roots and grows lighter at the ends but it offers a more subtle graduation of colour as well as face-framing highlights.
We can add rich Goldwell chocolate shades for brunettes who want a ‘warmer’ look, or ash tones for a cooler hair colour. Blondes can be updated with golden colours, vanilla shades or more dramatic platinum tones.
If you want this look, we will slightly darken your base colour before adding signature flashes of lighter colour to the ends and framing your face. The final look is a multi-tonal hair colour with shine.
