Blonde Envy Hair Salons in Milton Keynes follow a Colour Responsible Policy for the safety and peace of mind of our clients. It is important we carry out a skin test on clients who are booked in for a hair colour appointment.
We will out this skin test 48 hours prior to every colour service, to ensure you are not allergic to the key ingredients in the hair colourants we use.
Allergies can develop at any time and for no apparent reason, therefore we must carry out a skin test before EVERY colour service.
The skin test is a very simple process, which can be carried out in salon or from the comfort of your own home.
Hair colourants are not intended to be used on persons under the age of 16 so we will not perform colour services on persons under the age of 16.

If you would like us to post a skin test out to you, please complete the form below including your name, telephone number, address and postcode. Alternatively you may collect a skin test from one of our salons. Please only request a skin test by post if your appointment is more than 7 days away, otherwise it may not reach you in time.
How To Use the Skin Test Kit
1.Remove the wrapping and peel off the clear protective film.
2.Press firmly to the inner arm with the logo face down on clean, healthy, grease free skin.
3.Thoroughly wet the backing card with a wet sponge or water spray until the backing easily slides away from the Colourstart logo.
4.Pat dry and leave the test on your arm.
Your test will be removed at the salon. We must be able to see the test on your arm upon arrival in order to carry out your colour service. Unfortunately, if you have not carried out your test, we will not be able to undertake the colour service, as your safety is of great importance to us.
When visiting the salon we will give you another skin test to use before your next appointment.
